Zoe is an experienced educator and artist, who takes an encouraging and tailored approach to working with her students. She has two years’ teaching experience in secondary schools in the UK and Canada. She has tutored students preparing for their GCSE and A Level exams, as well as Key Stage 3 students. She has also taught at schools and colleges in South Korea and Madagascar.
After graduating from Oxford with a BA(Hons) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, Zoe subsequently achieved an MSc with Distinction from the London School of Economics. She has more recently returned to her studies and completed a postgraduate course in Fine Art at The Royal Drawing School, having been awarded a full scholarship.
Zoe recognises and encourages a range of learning methods to suit each student, an approach which stems from her education and professional experience spanning the arts and humanities. It is her belief that there is space for the creative mind in mathematics, just as much as logic and critical thinking have an important place in the arts.
