Zoe is a hugely enthusiastic tutor with a compassionate approach to working with her students. She was motivated to become a tutor when asked to support a family member who suffered from dyslexia. With a view to building confidence in her students’ abilities, she strives to provide praise and challenge in her lessons and is always willing to adapt lessons to suit a students emerging needs.
Zoe is a Queen Mary graduate with a BA Hons (2:1) in English Language and Literature and also a PGCE qualified teacher. She has six years of experience working in inner London secondary schools teaching students at KS3 and KS4. She has spent many weekends working with KS2 students to improve their literacy and numeracy skills and two summers working with students on international exchange programmes from Hong Kong. Outside of work, Zoe enjoys yoga, reading and visiting the theatre. She is also a keen traveller with trips to Italy and Vietnam being amongst her favourites. She is excited to be spending more time in Asia this year.
