William is a hard-working, engaging tutor with nearly five years of private tutoring experience. He is a calm and adaptable tutor able to shape his approach according to the unique requirements of each of his students and is always willing to put the time in away from the lessons.
After achieving 1 A* and 2 A’s at A-level, William studied Politics and International Relations at Durham University, graduating with a 2.1 in 2017. He teaches English, History and Politics for GCSE, AS and A-level.
William has prepared students in 13+ examinations to schools such as Dulwich College and Kingston Grammar School. He teaches students up to GCSE and A-level and is experienced with boards such as AQA, OCR, CIE, Edexcel, WJEC as well as the IB. He has also tutored students towards a number of Russell Group Universities. William has worked successfully with 11+ students towards schools such as JAGS and Alleyn’s and spent a year as a teaching assistant working with Year 5 Maths and English classes.
Alongside tutoring, William volunteers at a local radio station in Wandsworth and is currently working towards being a comedy writer.
