Will is a primary school teacher with 4 years of experience across all year groups. He is currently teaching part time while he trains to be an Educational Psychologist. Prior to teaching, he spent 2 years tutoring children at primary and secondary school level. He has a First Class Honours degree in English from Queen Mary University of London and has worked as a Teaching Assistant in a number of different schools with a particular focus on children with special educational needs.
Will has experience tutoring English and Maths across all years at primary school level, and as a qualified teacher he has a thorough understanding of the learning objectives and expectations for children as set out in the National Curriculum. He has experience tutoring children in preparation for English Language and Literature GCSEs, 7+, 11+ and CE exams.
He is patient, hard working and passionate about helping children to develop in confidence, enthusiasm for learning and to reach their potential. His role as an educational practitioner gives him extensive experience in planning and teaching lessons for children with a wide range of needs and different learning styles. He prides himself on preparing students for the specific requirements of the exams they are preparing for, and takes a creative and flexible approach to meeting different needs. He understands the importance of having a sense of humour and is able to explain things in a number of different ways.
