Verity is a hugely experienced teacher having taught in South London schools as well as tutoring privately.
She would be a particularly good choice for common entrance exams and has had success with Alleyn`s, Emanuel, Graveney, JAGS, Rosemead, Royal Russell, St Dunstan’s, Sydenham High, Streatham and Clapham High, Dunraven School and Bedales.
In her own words: “I have more than 35 years of teaching experience in mainstream Secondary schools, specialising in Religious Education, History and PHSE and I currently work in schools for children with Special Needs in Primary and Secondary. “As a tutor for 8 years I have worked with children from age 4 upto 16, focusing largely on English and Maths at all levels and successfully helping students with entrance to State, Selective, Grammar and Independent schools. This has been achieved by not only practising past papers, but by nurturing their confidence in their own ability by highlighting their strengths and building on these. With a calm but focused approach any difficulties they perceive they have can be improved.”
