Stephen graduated from Cambridge University with a double-first in Classics in 2018. He specialised in Latin and Greek literature and Ancient Art; he also took an English Literature paper for his finals.
Stephen has spent three years living in Germany and Austria and speaks fluent German. He has also studied Italian to B2 level and is happy to tutor beginners in Italian.
Stephen reads voraciously and broadly, fiction and non-fiction, and often reads Italian and German novels in the original.
Stephen is a freelance opera singer and has studied for master's degrees at the Royal Academy of Music, London, and the University of Performing Arts, Vienna. He teaches singing and is able to tutor Grade 5 Theory.
