Profile

After graduating in History and Geography with honours in his native Spain, Luis moved to New York City to continue developing his academic studies. Upon moving to London, Luis completed a PGCE, a MA and a PhD awarded by University of London. He has almost 19 years of practice in educational backgrounds ranging from private tutoring A levels, FE, and wide range of HE institutions. Luis’ educational style is relaxed and patient, and he structures his lessons around asking questions of the student and getting them to think through problems rather than just presenting information. He enjoys working with all type of students in a subject, creating learning sessions that are inclusive, non-threatening and accessible.

Our son really enjoyed working with Luis, benefiting from his expertise and friendly approach. They worked together methodically through the A-Level Geography curriculum where Luis was particularly adept at supporting more intensively when required. His input has helped him deepen his knowledge and develop the self-confidence to achieve highly in forthcoming exams and study in the future.
