Profile

Jade is an enthusiastic and creative educator who creates a positive and engaging learning environment. She studied an art foundation course and then a fashion degree, going on to work in design studios before changing career to support adults with learning disabilities. She is a multidisciplinary and versatile artist who now delivers therapeutic art workshops and has a breadth of knowledge to draw on as a tutor, not just limited to creative subjects. Jade has four years teaching experience at the Charter school East Dulwich where she taught from KS3 to KS5 students and is passionate about supporting students from all backgrounds to achieve their potential using a diverse range of teaching strategies. She believes that all students have the right to a quality education and works alongside the students and families to ensure results such as securing places on foundation courses. Jade has experience supporting SEN students pass GCSE’s and A-Levels, reading and marking essays, writing UCAS references and developing portfolios for university interviews.
