Profile

Felicity is an inspiring, friendly and dedicated tri-lingual tutor. With 15 years’ experience as a tutor, mentor, home school tutor and MFL Volunteer Teaching Assistant, she loves the subjects she teaches and looks to inspire students, whilst trying to find the best techniques to help each student learn and absorb; including memory games and learning tricks for those with dyslexia. Felicity tutors French, Spanish and English from 11+, 13+ Common Entrance to A Level and through to Degree level. She has also taught Spanish GCSE at Maida Vale School. She works in expanding the emotional intelligence of a student and confidence building in individuals; helping students understand what is unique to them, whilst making sure they don’t go into interviews sounding like they’ve been prepped. She has been fortunate enough to teach all over the world and with children at both State and Private schools. Felicity is a professional actress and Translator/Writer for theatre. She is also a workshop facilitator and runs confidence courses for children as well as a vocal coach for trainee teachers at TeachFirst, delivering workshops on Physical Presence & Vocal Skills as well as one to one sessions. She has written a French GCSE revision pack for RSL Educational, available on Amazon. As well as tutoring, she has worked as a workshop facilitator for Teach First on Physical Presence & Vocal Skills, with Diplomatic Liaison Officers for the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, as a Confidence Coach at a Summer Academy and French Theatre Workshop Facilitator at Maida Vale School. She is a translator and writer for theatre, books and film and is a member of Cross Channel Theatre, led by the Institut francais du Royaume-Uni.
