Eloise is an enthusiastic, patient educator and interdisciplinary artist specialising in writing skills and the arts. She offers tutoring in English, music, essay writing, art history, theatre studies, and fine art, as well as providing Oxbridge application advice, practical music lessons and 7+, 11+, and 13+ preparation. She is passionate about supporting people with their academic and creative endeavours, and helping them express themselves dynamically, yet concisely in written and verbal contexts. She has previously supported a student achieve an A* grade in her music A-level, has mentored an Oxford University applicant, and has worked with a final year Oxford music student on two dissertations, which went on to receive a first-class result.
As an artist, Eloise’s work engages with music, visual artforms, literature, and theatre and performance. Her creative, conceptual mindset allows her to find the tools and language that appeal to individual students, and she utilises a holistic approach to the arts to appeal to those who, like herself, enjoy thinking outside the box. Her performance and debating experience have shaped her into a confident, empathetic communicator who is clear and engaging verbally, whilst her rigorous academic background ensures she is a precise, fluent writer with exacting standards in written expression.
Eloise has an undergraduate degree in music from the University of Oxford, and a first-class master’s degree in music performance and research from Goldsmiths University. She was a student at the Junior Royal Academy of Music and attended the Godolphin and Latymer School in London. Young people energise and motivate Eloise, and she hopes to share her enthusiasm with them in a mutually beneficial way!
