Ash is a Graduate-entry Medicine student at King’s College London, holding a First Class Honours degree in Anatomy, Developmental and Human Biology from the same institution. With three years of research experience at King’s, UCL, and Imperial, she has developed a strong foundation in both theoretical Biomedical knowledge and practical skills. During this time, she served as a mentor for Bachelor’s and Master’s students, teaching them essential laboratory techniques and the scientific principles that underpin their projects. Additionally, she is keen to support prospective medical students, having achieved an impressive score on the UCAT earning her interview invitations to all her medical school choices and finally, three offers.
Ash’s teaching style is highly personalized; she begins by assessing each student’s current level of understanding and then tailors her approach to meet individual needs. Whether helping students grasp complex scientific concepts or navigate the medical school application process, she strives to build confidence and foster curiosity. By breaking down challenging topics into manageable steps and adapting to different learning styles, Ash ensures that every tutoring session is engaging and effective. With a commitment to providing structured guidance, she is dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals.
Ash is an incredible tutor, and has been supporting my daughter with weekly A-Level Biology and Chemistry. She is incredibly structured and always follows up with further reading and videos for my daughter to use to embed her learning. Apart from loving working with her, my daughter has gained knowledge and confidence and has gone from a borderline B/C predicted grade to a strong predicted grade A in both subjects. Without Ash this would not have been possible.
