Profile

Over the last 15 years, Apeike has supported students to prepare for 11+, 13+, KS3, GCSE and A-Level exams. She prioritises building in students a deep and sustainable love of learning. As such, she is the ideal choice for students looking to build confidence, resilience and aspiration in their academic endeavours.

Apeike is currently a Supervisor at the University of Cambridge, teaching undergraduate students in both the Faculty of History and the Department of Politics and International Studies. Prior to becoming an academic, Apeike trained as a lawyer in the City of London where she practised Banking & Finance law for several tears at a number of silver and magic circle firms. She completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees at King’s College London, the University of Oxford, and the University of Cambridge. 

At 11+ and 13+, Apeike has successfully helped students gain admission to some of the leading independent and grammar schools, including Dulwich College, Alleyn’s, Dartford Grammar, and Townley Grammar. At KS3, GCSE and A-Level, she has extensive experience supporting children preparing for exams in all major exam boards. Her students regularly exceed their predicted grades and go on to study their subjects at higher levels.

Apeike’s approach is to work with students to develop an engaging, sustainable and rewarding relationship with their education by: working with students to progressively build their understanding of key concepts;  going “back to basics” when necessary to solidify foundational knowledge; and using positive reinforcement and encouragement to get the best engagement from her students.
