Profile

Ali is a Natural Sciences graduate from UCL, where he specialised in Biomedical Sciences and Synthetic Organic Chemistry, and is now studying medicine as a graduate at Anglia Ruskin University. Alongside his medical studies, he is involved in research in medical education and neuroscience, building on his strong scientific and academic foundation with leading academics.

Over the last several years, Ali has supported students across GCSE and A-Level in Biology, Chemistry, and related sciences, helping them to achieve top grades across all major exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR). His students have gone on to exceed their predicted grades and progress to competitive university courses, including medicine and other healthcare degrees. 

Ali’s own academic background includes attending one of the UK’s leading independent schools, where he achieved top GCSE and A-Level results. More recently, he scored in the top 5% nationally in the GAMSAT entrance exam for graduate medicine. This first-hand experience of competitive university entry means he can also support students preparing for medicine applications, including guidance on interview technique, critical thinking, and how to present themselves confidently and authentically. 

Ali’s approach is to work with students to build strong, lasting understanding and genuine confidence in their subjects. He uses a structured, evidence-based teaching style that blends active recall, spaced repetition, and past paper analysis, while adapting lessons to the individual needs of each learner.
