Adele takes pride in instilling academic excellence through a genuine love of learning, placing a strong emphasis on student's wellbeing, confidence, and encouraging them to follow their passions. She has a strong academic background, having achieved straight A's throughout her time at school, followed by a First-Class Honours degree in English and Latin Literature (BA) and a Distinction in Global Media and Communication (MA), both from the University of Warwick. Adele also holds Grade 8 clarinet so can help students with reading sheet music and performance skills, having performed solo and in several group ensembles and orchestras over the years. Adele has worked with school students in a variety of academic and pastoral roles, including tutoring GCSE and A-Level students in English Literature, History, Politics, and Sociology. She worked with students during the height of COVID so has plenty of experience with online tutoring and offers a sympathetic approach, with an awareness of how this period affected student's mental health. She has a passion for equity and inclusion, as demonstrated by her role in the Widening Participation team at The University of Warwick, during which time she advised students from local schools on how to apply to and prepare for university. Having attended both state and private schools, Adele brings a unique perspective to her tutoring and is committed to supporting students of all backgrounds and abilities.
