Tom is a dedicated chemistry, biology and maths tutor with 5 years tutoring experience. He graduated from the University of Bath in 2019 where he read Natural Sciences, majoring in chemistry with a minor in biochemistry. Prior to this Tom studied at Brighton and Hove Sixth Form College where he received 3 A*’s in chemistry, maths and biology. Tom has a natural aptitude for and love of the sciences with a particular enjoyment of chemistry and takes great satisfaction in fostering this passion in students and supporting their potential future careers.

From October 2021 Tom will be undertaking a Masters in Green Chemistry at Imperial College London and will be available to tutor part-time from the end of September 2021 in London. He is available to tutor both in-person and online for students undertaking GCSE, IGCSE, A – level and IB, having taught students across all of these levels.

Tom is a firm believer that positive student engagement is key to successful tutoring. All his lessons are tailored to each student’s individual requirements and utilise a variety of learning resources maximising student involvement and enjoyment.

Outside of tutoring Tom is a keen sportsman and particularly loves surfing. He played rugby up to and through university. In addition to his sporting interests Tom enjoys amateur acting and film.
