Tom is an extremely dedicated and enthusiastic tutor with a passion for teaching. With previous experience working with young people at risk of homelessness, including training and employment support, Tom has a patient approach and can motivate his students. Every student is unique, and therefore he understands that lessons should be developed to meet individual needs and strengths, to provide students with the confidence needed to progress.
Tom graduated from the University of Leeds with a degree in English Literature and History, and recently completed an MA in Public Policy at King’s College London (Distinction). At school, he achieved straight A’s at A-Level. In sixth form Tom also volunteered as a student counsellor, offering support and advice to younger students.
Alongside experience working as a support worker, Tom also has experience working as a researcher for a charitable trust. He is passionate about literature and film, and an avid follower of news and current affairs.
