Tiggy has been working as a committed tutor for two years now and is passionate about helping young people achieve their potential. She believes that the most effective method for tutoring stems from fuelling a child’s confidence in their ability and learning, thereby improving engagement and results. With Tiggy’s patience and sensitivity, her students are able bring ownership to their education and develop their focus, resilience and desire to learn. Tiggy specialises in providing support for pupils with special educational needs and those on EHCs. Tiggy works closely with her pupils to bring their individual interests into their sessions and infuse the national curriculum with their own creativity and imagination. Last year, Tiggy worked as a 1:1 specialist teaching assistant in Our Lady and St Philip Neri Primary School in Sydenham. She now works for Rocket Boots Theatre Company providing LAMDA workshops in both Newton Prep and Alleyn’s Junior School. She has extensive knowledge of the Dulwich school area and continues to work freelance as a TA at Schools in South London.
Tiggy is an enthusiastic and creative tutor who is passionate about her work. She went to James Allen’s Girls School and then on to get an MA in Liberal Arts from the University of Bristol. She majored in History and minored in Film. This included a year abroad in Los Angeles where Tiggy started to make her own films and write her own material.
