Tom graduated from the University of Oxford last year with a 2:1 (honours) in a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences. He spent the following year teaching English at a secondary school in Madrid, including giving lessons on Biology and Chemistry. He was educated locally at The Charter School, where he studied Biology (A*), Chemistry (A*) and Mathematics (A*). Tom’s passion for academia and the sciences continues as he is currently pursuing a MSc in Biomedical and Molecular Sciences at King’s College London.
Tom’s tutoring experience begun at school, where he helped KS3 students with their homework. During his time in Madrid, Tom tutored kids with their English as well as with their homework, including subjects such as Biology and Mathematics. Tom’s pedagogical style is interactive, varied and thorough. He understands the importance of modifying lessons to suit individual needs and places importance on exam technique.
