Susie gained Grade A and B A levels in Art and Design, Design Technology and English literature respectively. She then achieved a BA Honours in Fine Art Sculpture at the Glasgow School of Art in 2010 and a masters in Sculpture from the Royal College of Art in 2019. Since graduating in 2010 she has been practising as a sculptor both in the UK and internationally. In 2009 she studied sculpture on exchange at Kyoto Seika University in Japan.
Susie is an associate lecturer in fine art at the University of Gloucestershire and has been a visiting lecturer at UAL, University of Brighton, Westminster University, University of the Creative Arts and guest speaker at Goldsmiths University and Falmouth University. She has taught in the Art History department and the Judge Business School at Cambridge University, at the Fitzwilliam Museum and at St Andrews College. Susie still teaches regularly in Cambridge and now tutors across London. Her experience is in teaching English as a foreign language, Art History, Art, Design and Technology, 11+, 7+ and in study skills.
Susie spends her free time seeing art and design exhibitions, playing tennis, dancing salsa, skiing in winter and having fun exploring London with friends. Susie also loves to travel when she can and has visited South America, Asia and Europe. Her most recent trip was to Iceland.
