Dulwich Tutors support many students each year with their History examinations, as they study from Key Stage 3 through to A level or International Baccalaureate and beyond.

GCSE or iGCSE History are subjects studied by a majority of students aged 14-16 in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and beyond. Because History topics may cover a range of historical periods and geographical regions, focusing on both British and international history, sharing the exam board and options being studied with us is key, so that we can match you with the best available tutor.

The iGCSE is the international version, but some UK based independent schools favour these examinations for their course content, or the coursework elements they afford during assessment.

Whether GCSE or A Level, AQA, Edexcel, CIE, EDUQAS or IB, our tutors work to develop the analytical writing and essay skills to support students towards a strong showing in examination. WJEC and CCEA are studied less frequently, but we have tutors available who have covered them in the past, or are familiar with them.

Because of the volume of course content, many students begin History tuition a good deal of time before summative assessments. However, exam question strategies may be tutored much nearer the examination date, and have a large impact on performance.
