Sean is an Imperial College graduate with a first-class mathematics degree, and a master’s from Cambridge. In the last two years, he greatly enjoyed teaching the Australian QCE mathematics curriculum in years 10 to 12 at a high school in the lovely city of Hangzhou, China, while (trying to) improve his Chinese skills.
In addition, Sean has tutored many students individually and in small groups in subjects such as AP Calculus and GCSE-equivalent maths and physics, and prepared them to move overseas. He is especially proud when one of his tutees went on to win a mathematics competition in her first year in a foreign school.
As an educator, he works hard to challenge his students while also conveying a sense of excitement in the subject he is teaching. His students describe him as thoughtful and trustworthy, with a great attention to detail and planning.
Sean is currently studying for an MSc in Machine Learning at University College London.
