Sarah is an attentive and patient tutor with several years’ experience mentoring students in group and one-to-one settings. She has been tutoring with Dulwich Tutors for three years and has achieved consistently positive outcomes with students from primary to GCSE level: At GCSE, she has helped students achieve at least one grade above predicted, and clients across different levels have reported increased confidence and enthusiasm at school. Sarah’s sessions are relaxed and engaging, making use of a range of methods to energise the learning process and stimulate independent thought. She places particular focus on boosting confidence and equipping students with the tools to think critically and laterally, encouraging them to apply their academic skills to the world outside the classroom.
Sarah is currently reading a PhD in English Literature at UCL. She has a distinction in her master’s degree in French Literature from Jesus College, Oxford, and holds a first-class BA in English and French from Queen Mary University of London.
From September – December 2021, Sarah will be conducting lessons online, however she is happy to resume in-person lessons from the 6th December 2021.
