Micah is an attentive and diligent tutor with four years of private tutoring experience. He enjoys tailoring the content and delivery of his lessons to students’ ability and characteristics. Micah also has experience working with SEN students. After achieving three A*s at A-Level, Micah left Dulwich College to go to university. He matriculated as an undergraduate at the London School of Economics and graduated with a 2.1 in Law. Micah teaches Law, English, Economics and Politics for GCSE and A-Level, across all major exam boards (e.g. AQA, Edexcel, CIE and WJEC).
Micah has also worked one-to-one and in schools, helping to improve students’ study skills in areas such as processing, memory and note-taking. He has utilised his experience in the study skills domain and conducted interviews with high-achieving Russel group students to create a suite of study-skills booklets.
Micah regularly attends workshops and conferences across the UK to enhance his teaching and stay up to date with curriculum developments. Micah’s commitment to improving his teaching approach has materialised in the academic success of his students. All Micah’s students’ achieved A-A*s (A-Level) and 6-9 (GCSE) in their 2020 mock exams. He is also a percussionist and a future trainee solicitor at a Magic Circle law firm.
