    Max is an invested, attentive and supportive tutor with over 1,000 hours of tutoring experience, specialising in humanities subjects. His dynamic and creative approach fosters curiosity to build strong understanding.

    Since graduating with a First-Class degree in Human, Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge in 2021, he has focused his wealth of interdisciplinary knowledge towards helping students achieve the top grades in subject areas across the humanities. Having achieved 12 A* grades at GCSE and 43 in the International Baccalaureate, he has a robust approach to exams which he transfers to all of his students. Max’s experience covers 11+, 13+, GCSE, A-Level and IB, as well as undergraduate study. For 11+ and 13+ entrance examinations, Max specialises in English, French, History, and Religious Studies. For GCSE and A-Level, Max is familiar with the Cambridge, AQA, OCR and Edexcel syllabuses for English, French, History, Politics, Sociology, Philosophy, Psychology, and Religious Studies. He also has plenty of experience in these same subjects at both Higher and Standard level for the IB syllabus.

    Max has further experience guiding students through their university applications, helping with personal statements as well as interview preparation for Oxbridge applicants. All of Max’s university applicants achieved their first-choice universities, including Cambridge, Edinburgh, Leeds and UCL.

    Max is a musician in his spare time and has a passion for music, literature and travel.
