Max is PhD candidate at Princeton University, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He received a full scholarship for six-years of full-time study. Before moving to the United States, he completed an MPhil at the University of Cambridge, where he was graded with distinction. He also completed his BSc at the London School of Economics. Now based back in London, he is excited to work with a wide range of educational needs and expectations.
He has a love of teaching the humanities and social sciences to clients ranging widely from the 11+ right up to postgraduate education. Working closely with both students and parents, he ensures that his student’s work aligns closely with what is expected of them by the exam boards so they can achieve the highest grade possible. Beyond specific content, he is also experienced with coaching students with interviews and exam preparation: success with these two latter obstacles is often as much about having the right mindset as it is a memorization exercise!
In addition, he also has extensive experience with teaching English as a foreign language (EFL). He lived in both Mexico and Brazil over the past decade for research purposes, and both of these wonderful Latin American countries gave him the opportunity to teach English to students and professionals. He particularly relishes building the confidence of aspiring young entrepreneurs, students and professionals to unlock their career potential through a masterful command of the English language.
