Matilda is an aspiring Clinical Psychologist, currently studying Mental Health Studies (MSc) at King’s College London. She obtained a first-class degree in Psychology (BSc) from The University of Bristol and was an academic scholar at the Lady Eleanor Holles school. Matilda specialises in Psychology, Biology and Maths; having obtained high A*s in both Biology and Maths A-level.
Having worked as a tutor for three years, Matilda has extensive experience teaching 4+, 7+, 11+, GCSE (maths and science) and A-level Biology. Matilda believes the best approach to tutoring is by forming a personal connection between tutor and pupil, making learning collaborative.
Matilda also specialises in Autism/SEN teaching; having worked in 3 different SEN Schools and with many SEN tutoring clients, she has a lot of experience working with neurodivergent children. In her spare time Matilda has volunteered as a mentor/tutor for children from refugee backgrounds and as a carer in a neurological hospital. Additionally, Matilda currently works in a parenting support group in collaboration with Kings College Hospital.
