Lucian is an outgoing, driven and inquisitive individual with a passionate interest in the arts – particularly literature. Lucian’s has a wide degree of experience in education having worked as an English teacher in an inner city London school for the past four years – arriving at the school through the highly competitive Teach First graduate recruitment programme. Lucian has taught students of wide ranging abilities, from Cambridge applicants to children with significant learning difficulties.
Having been consistently recognised as an outstanding practitioner Lucian was promoted to Lead Teacher of English in September 2017, responsibilities included quality assuring teaching and learning across the whole school, providing resources for the 14 strong English Faculty, organising and delivering key interventions school-wide. As such Lucian’s skill set is ideally suited to the intensive and individualised learning needs of prospective tutees.
Lucian’s qualifications include an MA in Writing for Performance, a BA in Drama and Theatre Arts from Goldsmiths University, a PGCE (with distinction) from Canterbury Christ Church and is enrolled on City Universities Novel Studio for the Academic Year beginning 2019. Lucian’s active engagement in literature enables him to bring unique insights into literature and creative writing.
