Lottie holds a Bachelors degree in English and American Literature from Goldsmiths University and a Masters in Social Anthropology from Goldsmiths University. At the moment, Lottie is looking forward to commencing a doctorate in English Literature and Post Colonial Theory from September 2021.

She believes that the most effective method for tutoring stems from generating a creative and holistic environment that encourages confidence and the capacity for the tutee to explore and engage with the subject in novel forms. While maintaining patience and passion, Lottie has experience in assisting young people to understand and utilise complex ideas, various literary methods and academic writing techniques.

Dyslexia runs in Lottie’s family, as such she’s keen to help neurodiverse children reach their goals by tailoring lessons to suit the way the student thinks. She is currently undertaking a course with the British Dyslexia Association to further her knowledge in this area.

We have been very pleased with Lottie, she has been quickly able to build a great rapport with our son, and has been able to build his confidence and he is very chatty and happy to learn with her. We are working this week to feed in some of the aspects from school concerning his Dyslexia, so we can ensure his support his targeting at his needs
