Words are not enough to express my gratitude to Stephen F for his outstanding performance when he prepared my son for his GCSE’s in English.
What really stood out was that apart from the good quality tutoring, Stephen believed in my son and this gave him the much needed confidence to improve his grade.
With Stephen’s involvement and unwavering support as a Tutor, we were able to persuade the school to allow M to do a higher grade tier rather than a lower grade tier in English Language that he was registered for. During what was a very stressful period for the whole family, Stephen wrote letters to the school persuading them that he was capable of achieving a higher grade with the additional tutelage he has provided.
M is presently undertaking his sixth form. This would not have been possible without Stephen’s intervention and assistance in persuading the school to register him for the higher tier examination in English.
Once again, I want to express my sincere gratitude to Stephen for the outstanding service he provided and I have no hesitation in recommending him.
Stephen did so much more than help our dyslexic daughter achieve A’s in both her English GCSE exams. He took a girl who ‘hated English’ at the start of the academic year and gave her wings. From the word go it was clear that he believed in her. Yet almost more importantly than the fantastic grades she achieved is the fact that he gave her the confidence to face the exams with no fear or anxiety whatsoever and this will stay with her for life. His approach was gentle and firm. Always encouraging and supportive. Our daughter absolutely loved working with him and her results are a testament to his patience, passion and fantastic teaching style. We could not have wished for a better tutor.
