Karlie is an experienced teacher who trained at Goldsmiths University of London for her PGCE in Secondary Education. She has a Foundation degree in Biological Sciences which included the study of Organic Chemistry and Environmental Physics, and BSc (Hons) Animal Conservation and Biodiversity from the University of Greenwich.
Her career as an educator has given her experience of teaching primary and secondary school children at KS3, KS4 and KS5 with proficiency in teaching SEN, dyslexia and Autism. She also works with nursery and primary school children teaching forest school with London Wildlife Trust. Her love of science took her to Africa where she worked as a research scientist for endangered species.
Karlie is a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor who is patient and resilient. She is keen to develop personalised learning plans for every child and tailors learning to suit individual needs. She understands that every child is unique and uses innovative techniques to explain complex concepts.
