Khallil is a conscientious and caring tutor with a great passion for mathematics and the sciences. As for his educational background, Khallil achieved a 2:1 degree in Pure Mathematics from the University of Warwick and recently graduated in January 2019 with an MSc in Mathematics from King’s College London.
Before embarking on his undergraduate studies, Khallil spent his gap year working as a learning support assistant for a local primary school. He summarises the experience as highly rewarding and thoroughly enjoyable. His tutoring experience includes guiding two university students to obtain high first class marks in their second year mathematics examinations.
Of particular importance to Khallil is flexibility in his tutoring approach to meet his students’ needs as they arise. Laying a solid and logical foundation of the basics is of paramount importance for Khallil. In his own words: “With a firm grasp of the basics and a logical thought process, it’s significantly easier for one to learn and apply new concepts to unfamiliar and unseen problems.”
