Joe has a wealth of experience working with children across a range of ages, abilities and groupings from a full classroom of students to 1:1 support for students in need of extra guidance.
He currently works for the London Connected Learning Centre, a charity that specialises in how to use digital technologies to improve learning in the primary education sector. He has specialist knowledge of the computing curriculum and digital resources that can help inform alternate ways of learning specific to an individual child’s needs.
Joe feels confident working with children of all ages and has a real interest in find engaging and fun ways to learn. He believes it is pivotal to understand how people learn most effectively and in structuring lessons around each individual student. He often pairs digital resources alongside practical and hands-on resources to create compelling and fascinating lessons that help to build a depth of understanding and, in turn, confidence.
Joe graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London with a First class degree in Fine Art in 2017. He continues to have a growing art practice, regularly showing work and participating in residencies: GCSE – Biology, Chemistry and Physics (OCR), Maths (Edexcel), Sociology (AQA), A level – Sociology (OCR), Art and Maths (Edexcel).
