Jess is a teaching fellow in English at UCL where she tutors first- and third-year undergraduates and specialises in twentieth-century American literature. Prior to her postgraduate research, she worked in journalism and publishing. She has four years tutoring experience in English, French and Spanish from 11+ to A-Level; she has also homeschooled literature and languages at GCSE-level. She is CELTA-qualified and has taught EFL learners in various countries.
