Jai is currently in his first year at university, reading Economics at King’s College London. Having achieved two A*s and one A at A-level in 2017, he decided to take a gap year and pursue tutoring. His tutoring approach is to apply the principles of Economics to people’s everyday lives, that way students can understand and empathise with the subject. His second step is to build a friendly and informal relationship with students, as he finds it is often easier to learn from a tutor you are comfortable with.
He has an extensive knowledge of Economics, a very recent experience of A-level Economics and Politics and a wealth of experience, thanks to being able to pursue tutoring full-time during his gap year. Jai can offer help on A-level Economics, A2 Politics (US Politics and Comparative Politics modules) and guidance on Economics applications to universities. He can also help younger students with Maths, from 11+ to GCSE level.
Apart from tutoring, he is a member of King’s Capital, the university investment fund and is a frequent contributor to the Cobden Centre, an Economics think tank.
