Jacob is a writer and United Nations-accredited conference interpreter based in Glasgow. He holds a first-class degree in French and Spanish from St John’s College, Oxford and an MA from the University of Bath.

Jacob is passionate about his subjects and uses them on a daily basis in his working life. He has been tutoring French, Spanish, English Language and English Literature at GCSE and A Level since graduating in 2018 and has particular knowledge of the AQA and Edexcel syllabuses. He also has experience with homeschooling.

Jacob sees his role as helping students turn their energy and bright ideas into rigorous arguments and excellent exam results. His academic background and experience preparing students for the Oxford MLAT and Cambridge MML Admissions Assessment means that he is also well-placed to support students through the Oxbridge admissions process.
