Jack is an enthusiastic and extremely patient tutor with over 10 years experience tutoring a variety of subjects. Jack is passionate and committed to ensuring that sessions are tailored to the individual pupil’s needs, ensuring they make maximum progress and achieve excellent results.
Jack graduated from Queen Mary, University of London in 2015 with a degree in zoology. He subsequently completed a PGCE in secondary science (biology) achieving 100% on his professional development profile, graduating with Distinction and the highest mark in the science cohort for the final assignment. He has recently completed a Master’s degree in science education at UCL. Jack has taught at several secondary comprehensive schools as a teacher of science and psychology, and along with tutoring secondary school students has tutored many primary school students. Jack is a biology specialist and is particularly familiar with the AQA and OCR specifications for GCSE and A-level biology. Jack has also helped several students studying science and psychology gain entry to university to study medicine and BSc Diagnostic Radiography. Outside of work, Jack teaches Shotokan Karate, which he has been practicing for 20 years. He also enjoys walking and cooking.
