Iselin is an inspiring, enthusiastic and encouraging tutor who believes that students learn best when they are enjoying the learning process. A former professional ballet dancer, she enjoys tapping into students’ own interests, helping them develop a real love of the subject and of learning, and developing students’ confidence in their knowledge and abilities. She also has considerable experience of working with students with additional learning needs such as autism.
Iselin gained a First Class BA Honours degree in French and Spanish from UCL, and later a PGCE specialising in Modern Foreign Languages. Having always had a passion for languages, she has spent time living and working in both French and Spanish speaking countries, as well as in Portugal, and has worked in translation, editing and proof reading.
Iselin teaches French and Spanish from beginner to GCSE and A Level and English as an Additional Language for all levels and abilities. She is also experienced in teaching and one-to-one tuition and support for children of primary school age, particularly for literacy and numeracy. Iselin offers lessons online and in-person and loves working with students of all ages and abilities.
