Imogen is an inspiring, creative and enthusiastic tutor.
After leaving Alleyn’s with A levels in Maths, Spanish and Psychology, Imogen went on to Newcastle University to study Spanish and Latin American Studies and Psychology. After graduating she trained to be a teacher under the Teach First Leadership Development Programme and qualified as an excellent practitioner from the Institute of Education.
Having taught Spanish and French for two years at a school in South London she was promoted to Acting Head of Spanish upon completion of her NQT year. During this time she identified the need for and led successful interventions supporting high ability students as well as those with special educational needs to achieve the best possible grades. She then went on to teach in various primary schools around London.
She has the ability to build strong relationships quickly enabling her to personalise learning and build self-confidence.
She is passionate about travelling and recently spent 4 months teaching at a primary school in Mexico.
