Harriet is a friendly, enthusiastic and creative teacher, who gained her PGCE at London South Bank University. She has experience of working with Key Stage 1 and 2 children, as well as those with EAL, SEN and other complex learning difficulties. She has experience teaching all the core subjects (English, Maths and Science), as well as phonics and is familiar with all aspects of the primary curriculum.
She aspires to get every child to maximise their potential and gain confidence in what they are doing, both in and out of the classroom, no matter what their ability, and she uses her creative approach to motivate and produce successful results. Harriet uses a variety of visual, auditory and kinaesthetic teaching styles to encourage every child to find enjoyment in their learning process.
In her spare time, Harriet enjoys playing tennis, keeping fit, running a holiday cookery and art class, cooking for friends and travelling.
