Hannah has been tutoring since 2013 when she graduated with a Distinction in her Masters from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. As well as a Masters Hannah also holds a top class degree from Cambridge University in English, Drama and Education Studies. Hannah has always enjoyed the process of discovering how each individual student best learns and working with them towards achieving their goals. She aims to give her tutees the confidence to overcome their obstacles and to help them to appreciate how intrinsically rewarding and enjoyable studying can be. Hannah often draws on her experience in theatre, education and the arts to use creative means of engaging her pupils in their learning. 

 

Hannah has extensive experience in tutoring for 7 and 11 plus exams – she has helped students to gain successful places at numerous schools including: Alleyns, JAGS, City of London, Emmanuel, St. Dunstans, Sydenham High School, Dulwich Prep, Putney, Queens and Francis Holland. She covers all aspects of the entrance exams (Maths, English, Verbal, Non-verbal and Spatial reasoning) as well as exam technique. Hannah hones in on areas that require a little more support and, when appropriate,  pushes ahead of the curriculum, to ensure her students feel as well-prepared and confident as possible. Further to this, Hannah has tutored many students in English and Drama at GCSE – she cannot help but pass on her enthusiasm for literature and theatre to those she teaches. Her students have gone on to reach and often surpass their target grades. Alongside her tutoring, she has worked in Primary and Secondary schools performing in Shakespeare productions and delivering workshops to students in and across London and beyond
