Georgi’s diverse range of primary school teaching experiences in the UK and abroad since qualifying as a teacher, allows her to share a range of skills and cultural understanding during her lessons. Georgi’s belief is that every teaching opportunity offers something unique and valuable. And she strives to work in a collaborative way with students – where she responds to every learner’s needs and adapts accordingly.
Georgi’s teaching stems from a creative and holistic upbringing and training. She uses a combination of creative materials in her lessons e.g. bright images, games, and videos for a Maths lesson. Learning should be fun, but at the same time structured, with academic and personal outcomes. She has received praise for her methods and results. Creating a very strong and positive rapport with her learners has been key – helping each one to build their confidence and enthusiasm in order to reach their full potential.
Georgi graduated from the University of Pretoria, South Africa with a Bachelor of Education – Early Childhood Development and Foundation Phase Degree. Having received a fully funded bursary for academic achievement and commitment to teaching. In addition to her teaching career, she has also worked within the hospitality/wellbeing and events sectors.
Georgi has worked with learners from Nursery up until Year 6, teaching a span of subjects. And in completely different settings – state, private school, online, and home environments. She is also keen to mentor a diverse range of young learners that are going through transitions whether during their high school or university journey. This is inspired by her current volunteering position for a not-for-profit social enterprise.
Her passionate, driven and positive nature rubs off on all learners, as this has been the driving force towards fantastic overall achievement.
