Ferzana is an enthusiastic and creative teacher of science. She has a BSc Hons in Medical Microbiology from the University of Surrey, Guildford. After which she started a fast track to Medicine at Queen Mary. She has worked in a variety of roles in the industry, Forensic Science Service and the Medical Tissue Cell Research Centre at Guys and St Thomas.
Since then, Ferzana has gone on to teach at various grammar, private and mainstream schools as a secondary science teacher. She has experience in teaching from KS 3 to KS 5, biology, chemistry and physics via various examining boards. She has invigilated exams, and supported students through sound exam practice and conducted intervention science lessons. Ferzana has also taught classical education for homeschooling students across various subjects, English, Science, Geography, Maths and History.
In her spare time she travels, mountain climb, paint and indulge in and write poetry, calligraphy. Ferzana is also using her free time to setting up a business in herbal medical skin products and teaching.
Ferzana prides herself on her excellent teacher to pupil relationships, this has helped in their confidence to progress.
