Ella is a friendly, caring and patient tutor who is motivated by a child’s energy and drive to succeed within education.
Ella graduated in 2019 with a second-class honours degree in Education and Psychology from Durham University. Having completed a Masters (MSc) at University College London studying Child Development, Ella gained a Distinction (first class) in both her dissertation and overall degree.
Ella is currently undertaking a PGCE while working at a top London Prep school with the aim to continue teaching and eventually train to be an Educational Psychologist. Ella is a confident tutor who has a wealth of experience tutoring various age groups from age 5-18 years, tailoring each session to the individual and their own learning experience.
Prior to University, Ella gained 2A*s in Psychology and History and A in Physical Education, dropping Biology at AS-level.
Having been diagnosed with compensated Dyslexia from a young age, Ella empathises with children who require alternative approaches to learning, such as tactile, kinaesthetic and visual methods incorporated into lessons, keeping them enjoyable and engaged. In her spare time, Ella enjoys playing and coaching sport, particularly netball and tennis, baking and socialising with her friends.
