Online Tuition

Dulwich Tutors Online

Dulwich Tutors offer online tuition using platforms such as Skype, Zoom, Bitpaper and Google Hangouts.  Functionality and connectivity for these platforms has reached a stage where online tutorials can offer many of the advantages of in-person tuition, with some additional benefits all of their own. Many students find online tuition engaging and productive and particularly enjoy the interactive nature of it. If you are seeking home schooling support we can offer quality subject tuition online, as well as more creative courses and we will carefully match one of our specialists with your child taking into accounts their specific needs and interests.

Our online specialists have been trained by our in-house Educational Consultant to deliver engaging and successful online tutorials.

Dulwich Tutors Online gives you access to established tutors, who have been  interviewed in person, DBS checked and have a record of working successfully with students on a one to one basis.  They are chosen for their empathy, engaging teaching style and academic excellence.

Dulwich Tutors are adept at tutoring students online who are unable to attend school due to school closures, illness or behavioural issues. Our tutors are happy to work alongside schools and parents to offer a comprehensive curriculum and we are able to create weekly timetables to suit your needs.  We are currently supporting several schools and academies during the school closures, tutoring in line with the National Curriculum and helping with KS1, KS2, GCSE and A level.

We endeavour to support parents who are currently homeschooling their children, perhaps offering subjects the parent feels less confident with, or being a supportive, encouraging mentor alongside.

Many of our tutors have second careers, as novelists, actors, theatre directors, script writers, yoga teachers, opera singers, poets and fine artists and we would be happy to devise unique and bespoke online tutorials and courses that are creative and inspirational for both adults and children. Let us know if you would like us to set up online courses exploring poetry, singing, drawing, painting, writing for comedy, languages and more.  We can also offer beginner and advanced courses for adults and older students in philosophy, history, english literature, economics and many more.  Contact us to discuss your interests and we would love to devise an exciting course tailored uniquely to you.

Exam Tuition

Our online tutors have extensive experience of national and international examinations, including; IGCSE and A level, International Baccalaureate and American SAT and have taught students from all over the UK as well as students from Russia, China, India, Dubai, the USA and beyond.

We are also experienced in helping students students for the 7+, 8+, 9+ 11+ and 13+ entrance exams, both ISEB Common Entrance and school specific tests in Maths, English, Languages and Science, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning.  Preparation for the face to face interview, or the scholarship tests, is also available.

A levels & University Entrance

We are also able to offer help for A level students preparing for university.   We can offer essay writing technique courses, or perhaps explore in depth an area of study the student is passionate about, in a more university style tutorial format. This would be a more relaxed, conversational online tutorial in which students can explore new ideas and develop confidence in preparation for the small group tutorials at university.

Online tuition can also be particularly helpful for A level and students preparing for UCAS university admissions. Our tutors can support national and international students in their applications, personal statements and interviews for universities and we have many tutors on our books who have extensive experience supporting students successfully towards Oxbridge entrance.
