Delroy has been a teacher of Mathematics and Statistics for over 22 years, 18 of which have been spent teaching in a wide cross-section of primary and secondary schools here in the UK. He has also taught in schools in Jamaica and Ghana. He has taught students of varying learning needs, including those with SEN needs and age ranges. He has prepared students for GCSE, IGCSE, 11+ examinations. He also worked as an examiner for Mathematics in his early years of teaching.
He is very passionate about the teaching and learning of Mathematics, hence spend a lot of his teaching career training teachers through school direct placements and the PGCE programme. He does appreciate the challenges that some might face as they learn the subject and as a result has developed patience and strategies to encourage others but at same time holding high expectations of all students.
He currently hold a PHD in Education (Teaching Learning and Assessment)
