After completing Dulwich College and Leeds University, Daniel had a successful 15-year career in Advertising, Social Media and Consulting. He has gained a rich and practical experience working for fantastic organisations such as PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC), MySpace & FOX as well as being Managing Director of an advertising agency in Dubai. This year, he decided to seek further fulfilment and retrain as teacher which plays to his enthusiastic, patient and personable nature. Daniel loves to build lasting relationships with the young people he supports and has received nothing but positive feedback in this regard.
Daniel is currently working as an LSA with SEN children at Archbishop Tenisons High School in Croydon where he will complete his full teacher training next year. In his role as an LSA, Daniel primarily supports Years 7 upwards across all subjects and has recently started 1:1 GSCE tutoring across Maths, English & History. He has a BA in Business Studies and with strong A and AS Levels in Business, English and History & excellent GCSE’s, is capable right across the board for younger age groups. Dan has also been trained in working with children with Autism and Speech Impediments and builds excellent an excellent rapport with the children he works with as well as with peers. While Dan teaches in secondary school, a lot of his private students have been primary aged and he has had excellent results with students as young a KS1. In the course of his role at Archbishop Tenisons, Dan has had recent interactions with AQA, Edexel and OCR exam boards as well as the 11+ & 13+ entrance examination process.
