Dan is a qualified primary school teacher, specialising in KS2 teaching and learning. Having graduated from a psychology degree, he embarked on a teaching career which spanned ten years including as a Head of English and Assistant Headteacher.
He spent much of his career working in Year 6 where he has vast experience in preparing children for SATs exams, with excellent results.
Having left classroom teaching, Dan decided to start his own company, helping secondary school age students to build their self-confidence and engagement through oracy and verbal communications. His business, Finding your Voice, is now finding its way into many secondary school curriculums across the country. He also has extensive knowledge and experience of working with children with ASC in his classes and now runs workshops building confidence and verbal communication with students who have ASC.
Dan prides himself on getting to know every young person he works with, forming excellent working relationships that ensure the student is able to fulfil their whole potential, building motivation and self-esteem in the process.
