Dale graduated in English from St John’s College Cambridge and subsequently trained as an actor at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. His work with the Royal Shakespeare Company and Shakespeare’s Globe has led to numerous teaching engagements working with students on all aspects of text and performance. He has taught at universities across the United States and conducted workshops in schools in the UK, including courses run by the National Youth Theatre in conjunction with the BBC Schools Shakespeare Festival.
A fluent German speaker, Dale lived and worked in Berlin for a number of years teaching business English to managers and executives for companies including Siemens and Deutsche Telekom. He also has an extensive background in communications skills training.He is passionate about English language and literature, has had a lifelong connection with German culture and has many interests including art, music, film and theatre.
