Charlotte is a friendly and enthusiastic teacher and was given an ‘outstanding’ Ofsted rating in her role teaching 200+ pupils GCSE/ A level science.
She also has 7 years’ experience in 1-1 tuition for national exams and has a 100% success rate in helping students prepare for 11+ and 13+ entrance exams to some of the UK’s top independent schools, with all tutees gaining entrance to one of their first-choice schools, including Dulwich College, St Paul’s and Eton.
Charlotte graduated Bristol University with a degree in Chemistry before obtaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and Leadership in the first year of her career, going on to be the youngest A-level teacher her school had appointed. Having left school on an academic sixth form scholarship, with 1A* and 3As at A/AS level and 8A*s at GCSE, Charlotte understands what it takes to help prepare students for success in their exams.
Charlotte is also experienced in working with SEN pupils, including pupils with dyslexia and dyspraxia, and has developed a wide range of methodologies to inspire and build resilience in pupils. Charlotte prides herself on creating a safe learning environment so students are confident in their abilities and continue to approach their studies with curiosity, which is sadly often lost through classroom textbook learning!
