Charles is a budding lawyer, interdisciplinary researcher, and enthusiastic tutor.

He graduated with First Class Honours in his Senior Status LLB from the Queen Mary, having studied legal philosophy and political theory at King’s College, both respected Russell Group Universities based in London. Throughout law school Charles was awarded prizes for outstanding achievement with distinctions in several law exams and scholarships for academic excellence. He has been a visiting student at Harvard Law School and participated in academic events and conferences at Yale, UCL, and Oxford.

Tutoring students at all levels (GCSE, A-Level, university) in law, politics, and philosophy, Charles aims to provoke students by bringing insights from critical and interdisciplinary approaches to global governance and human rights. He is keen to create a friendly and stimulating learning environment in which students feel confident to develop their own persuasive style of advocacy, oral and written communication skills, leadership qualities, as well as instilling excellent academic writing and research skills.

He enjoys teaching and, of course, tailors lessons to suit his students’ needs. Having previously qualified as a nurse with First Class Honours from King’s College London where he has been elected an Associate of the College, Charles can support students with learning challenges. By drawing on his wide-ranging experiences including academic research, barristers’ chambers, leading pro-bono educational workshops, and public policy work with international organisations, Charles can help students improve their understanding within its social, moral, and political context.
